'Landscapes of the Highlands' is a section of a larger piece called ‘Landscapes'. Sandy asked people to bring sand or soil from around the world and describe the place they took it from, so it is a document of the people as well as the places. These samples reflect Caithness in the North Highlands of Scotland.
