Rinoi Imada is an interdisciplinary artist who utilizes glass, crystallization, photography, video and mixed media. Rinoi sees three inherent properties in glass that fascinate her; clarity, fragility, and invisibility. Utilizing glass as a conceptual material, she expresses and questions identity, language, and desire. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in 2019, and is pursuing a graduate study at Rochester Institute of Technology. She has received awards and scholarships from CSUSB, RIT, and the Nomura Foundation in Japan in addition to others.
