Alan Horsley leads this class dedicated to the development of figurative sculpture in cast glass following the process from creation through to cast object. The first part of the course will be spent working with a life model sculpting directly from life in clay and wax. These 3 dimensional drawings will then be taken into the mold shop and the techniques for making complex glass casting molds explored and explained the casts will then be fired and cast in glass
