In 2003 Christopher Boha received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a major in Glass from the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary Canada. Since that time Christopher has traveled extensively and spent time working and studying with many different artists from around the world. For almost 10 years Christopher was based out of Calgary Canada maintaining a full time art practice with works ranging from mixed media and glass sculpture to large-scale public art and custom metal and glass installations. His work can be found in international collections in New Zealand, England, Australia, Canada and the United States. His current work focuses on identity, immigration and material notions of home. As an immigrant to Australia, having moved from Canada in 2009, Christopher’s work often contains traces of inspiration founded in his personal experiences of immigration. At present Christopher lives and works in Adelaide, South Australia with his partner Gabriella and daughter Neko, and is currently enrolled in the PHD of visual arts program at the University of South Australia.
