My work is distinguished by an original combination of blown and slunmped glass together with electroformed and knitted copper. Once formed, my pieces undergo a second firing at high temperatures, lose some of their transparency, become translucent. This transformation can be seen as a synmbol for the passage of time, when memories become indistinct and reality is distorted. The copper, electroplated on the glass surface, reinforces this aspect. Most recently, little copper chairs make an appearance, hinting at memories, happy or sad, which leave their mark on our lives.
