Tabitha Burrill has always found space in her life to express her creative nature. She uses which ever medium works best for any particular project, be it paper or food. When Tabitha discovered fused glass she says it was like coming home. Tabitha has done numerous short courses and masterclasses to learn as much as possible about working with glass. She moved from London to Croatia in Spring 2017 where she set up Glass Studio and started working as a glass artist full time. Tabitha’s fused glass process has been focused around the use of a vitrigraph kiln to make murrine which are the bases for her work. She is inspired by the landscape around her. Through multiple firings she creates texture and light. As well as focusing on her own work, Tabitha creates intricate murrine that are sold all over the world.
