Having worked with all forms of glass, for over 20 years, I still enjoy the creative process of experimenting with different techniques and producing works of art with this wonderful medium. Casting and kiln-formed work is a particular passion of mine and I have recently set up a studio to give me the space and time to develop my art in this area. My work is often inspired by nature, animals, and raising awareness of conservation issues. As a result, my artwork is often mixed-media in nature, incorporating natural wood, metal and concrete to compliment Recycled Glass. I love coming up with ideas to create in glass that often involve new ways if using glass which I have not seen before or learnt. This leads to experimentation with glass which I enjoy with a passion. The final pieces in these experimentations often become pieces of interest and beauty in their own right.
