Synopsis

Light Choreographies is an immersive engagement of gesture, scale, rhythm and responsive movement. The piece explores microscopic and telescopic harmonies through shifting dichotomies of machine and human perception. The work embodies a visceral experience of light between human agents and their spatial and material surroundings.
The footage captures part of a performance shared at Theatr Mwldan, Wales, where the work formed dialogues between the choreographies of a dancer, live coding, sound composition and real-time video mixing.
