Amy F W Corcoran
Amy F W Corcoran is an artist, researcher and writer whose practice oscillates around human rights, ecology and interspecies dynamics, and incorporates film, photography, sound and installation. She employs these mediums to produce intimate spaces for reflection and embodied sensory experiences. Amy’s practice is partly informed by her PhD, which investigated art’s role in social change. In the contemporary climate, she understands art to hold power when it opens up empathetic spaces. Recently, Amy’s writing on grief was published by Haus-a-rest, and photographic work was exhibited by Grey Cube Gallery. She is currently conducting a residency in the Peak District.
