Jenny Mulligan, born 1992, is an Irish glass artist based in Sweden. She graduated with a BA (Hons) in Art and Design history and Craft Design from NCAD Dublin,  Ireland in 2015; Taking a semester abroad at AIU Carbondale, Illnois. She has since interned at Berlin Glas, e.V., studied at Jyderup Hoiskole, Denmark, and worked as a glassblowing assistant in Bergen, Norway. Jenny’s first encounter with wheel engraving on the lathe with Katharine Coleman was in 2015. Three years later, she returned to the wheel thanks to Wilhelm Vernim’s engraving course in Dublin and subsequently purchased her own machine. Jenny’s engraving narrative work explores human relationships and ethics with animals. In 2020 she has completed her studies at Riksglasskolan, Nybro, Sweden with a focus on both hot and cold glass. Recent exhibitions include Gravur on Tour – Back on Tour, Riihimaki to Coburg, 2020 and Ireland Glass Biennale 2019, Dublin.
