artist bio

I am Jagoda. I like to say that I honed the glass workshop in the field of Art and Glass Design of the Wroclaw Academy of Fine Arts. For me, glass is a magical and unique material. I am inspired by the fact that it has been accompanying humanity for centuries. A quartz crystal (or silicon atom?) gives a man great opportunities starting from insulators, through vessels to telescopes looking into space. However, the objects, that are closest to me, are those that enrich our surroundings with their beauty. The ones that decorate. When I look, the outside world flows through me, and I try to catch those particles, moments that are not obvious which often go unnoticed. They inspire me. Thanks to them the desire to design is born. Through receiving inspiration from the world, I create objects that I want to share and, in this way, I give them back to the world. To fully realize my passion and goals, I make decorative and utilitarian objects mainly of glass, but not only. I would like my personal brand to be a space created out of love for artistic craftsmanship. It’s made for me and, I hope, for you. My visions, realizations, fulfilled dreams – your joy and pleasure of communing with objects made with respect for material, work of hands and the world. I also want to spread the passion for creation, arouse your interest in local crafts, the quality of the material used, natural materials, the adopted technique or concept that is behind the product, in particular upcycling. I believe that there are more of us, people who see value not only in the beauty of things, but their usefulness, durability, friendly relation to the environment and the planet.
