Currently Programme coordinator for Product Design at Chichester University. Prior had a couple of years working in the water-jet industry, worked at UWTSD Glass Department 2008-2015, awarded professor in 2013. Trained initially in Stained Glass at Swansea, before going onto a Masters at Wolverhampton, where I was introduced to water-jet technology. Since 1997 she has specialised in using technology creatively. Gained a PhD from Sunderland University in 2006 and have worked with many artists to incorporate technology into their practice. Author of “New Technologies in Glass” published by Bloomsbury (2012). Continues to exhibit in the USA and the UK and writes about the use of such technology for both the arts and industrial sectors. In recent years has developed a successful collaborative working partnership with those in water-jet industry.
